Mythos & Ink

We are a small press with a passion for publishing great stories and the community built around them.

We publish science fiction, fantasy, and related nonfiction projects, but make a space for writers to learn, grow, and become great authors through informative blog posts, a podcast, and a writers’ support group called The Mythmakers’ Guild.

Book Publishing

We publish science fiction, fantasy, and select nonfiction, mainly for the Adult and YA market. We’re passionate about bringing undervalued voices to the printed page, those who have amazing stories to tell. And we looooove unique worldbuilding.

Audio Publishing

Read by voice actors and professionals, our audio books for science fiction and fantasy always include something a little extra. Whether it’s an interview with the author or a discussion after each chapter, you won’t be disappointed by pressing play.

Community

Our Patreon page offers extra content, books, and other incentives, and The Mythmakers' Guild provides guidance, inspiration, and encouragement for aspiring authors of all genres including science fiction and fantasy. Visit our Communities page for more information.

Allison Alexander

Editorial Director

Allison has been an editor for seven years, working with seasoned and aspiring authors alike. The Executive Editor at Area of Effect magazine for three of those years, Allison enjoys working with nonfiction related to geeky topics, especially video games. For fiction, she adores science fiction and fantasy with fascinating characters, quirky adventures, and unique world building. Characters who represent marginalized people (especially chronic illnesses and disabilities) are especially attractive to her.

On her spare time, she can be found in Hyrule, Middle-earth, or a galaxy far, far away, probably in the company of her husband and imaginary pet owl.

Non-submission emails can go to her here: allison@mythosink.com

Most-Loved Authors (besides the ones she works with): Diana Wynne Jones, Garth Nix, Lloyd Alexander, Roger Zelazny, Terry Brooks, J.K. Rowling

Kyle Rudge

Marketing Director

Kyle has over ten years of experience in marketing and has been the program director and morning show host for two successful radio stations. He loves giving authors the individual attention they deserve and is passionate about working with science fiction and fantasy projects.

A geek through-and-through, Kyle loves Ender’s Game, Battlestar Galactica, and Firefly. He’s also a jungle main, a Ravenclaw, and The Wayfarer’s Guide to Worldbuilding podcast host! He’s a husband and father of 2 humans and retains guardianship over 2 furry companions. And he’s someone who loves seeing others reach their full creative potential.

Non-submission emails can go to him here: kyle@mythosink.com
